So, B has more or less finished his man cave-- a half-year project to turn our basement into a home theatre system. I must say, it's pretty snazzy. At the moment, we're mostly using the projector to play video games but we're finally starting to watch some movies. We've started watching that True Blood show which is apparently supposed to be based on the Charlaine Harris novels but it's more like Twilight + softcore porn with the same bad writing I'd expect from Meyer. I'm so sick of all these neo-vampire hacks but it's something different so we watch it.
B's family bought him a new set of furniture and we've settled into "our" chairs. He has a couple things left-- we need a door to block out the window light from our laundry room and we still need to put some baseboards on the bottom. I think he's also looking into a mini fridge-- I'll never see him again!
I anticipate a man cave party tonight-- which is fine as I need to catch up on some schoolwork.
In other news, I'm not quite ready for autumn. I spent a lot of the summer indoors with some coursework and I want to be outside. I have to settle for watching B's mens-only slow pitch softball league games: pussyball.
Lastly, I'm playing WoW again though not nearly as much. I pretty much just do arenas with my shaman though I tend to work on alts when I'm procrastinating. The current tally: 6 80s and 3 70+s. Yikes.
